Who we are

Valley Water Damage Help is a website that publishes information about water damage and mold for homeowners in the Phoenix Valley and runs a phone line that connects callers with independent local restoration providers. We don’t perform restoration or any other work. Contact details are at the end of this page.

Information collected when you visit

Technical data. Like most websites, this site is delivered through a hosting and security provider (Cloudflare). When you load a page, that provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested and the time of the request, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse.

Site analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors.

Product analytics. We may use PostHog to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors move between pages and which call buttons are tapped. PostHog may store an identifier in a cookie or local storage to recognize a returning browser and, if session recording is turned on, may record how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement). We don’t use it to identify you by name.

Call tracking script. The phone number shown on this site may be inserted by a script from a third-party call tracking and advertising network. This lets the network show a tracking number and tell which page or visit led to a call. The script may use cookies or similar browser storage to keep the same number on screen during your visit.

We don’t use forms on this site, and we don’t ask you to create an account.

Information collected when you call

The phone number on this site is a call tracking number operated by a third-party call tracking and advertising network. When you call it, the network and the provider who receives your call may collect:

• the phone number you’re calling from and caller ID information,
• the date, time and length of the call and the number you dialed,
• general location information, such as the area code or the location you give during the call,
• anything you say during the call, including your name, address and a description of the damage, and
• a recording of the call, if the call is recorded.

Call recording. Calls may be recorded for quality purposes and to confirm that calls were connected as described. If you don’t want your call recorded, don’t place the call.

How the information is used

• To route your call to an independent provider that serves your area.
• To measure which pages lead to calls and to keep the phone line working.
• To review call quality and handle questions or disputes about calls.
• To keep the site secure and to comply with the law.

Who it’s shared with

• The call tracking and advertising network that operates the phone line.
• The independent provider that receives your call. Once you’re talking with a provider, their own privacy practices apply to what you share with them.
• Service providers that host and secure the site.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, although the phone number shown may change between visits.
• You can choose not to call. The information on this site is available without calling.
• For questions about information connected to a call, contact us using the details below. Because calls are handled by the call tracking network and by independent providers, we may need to pass your request on to them.

Children

This site is meant for adult homeowners. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Our pages link to public sources such as the EPA, FEMA, the National Weather Service and city websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
